iPhone Insurance PolicyThe iPhone is covered under a standard limited one-year Apple warranty, but is not eligible for AT&T’s wireless phone insurance, which for a $5 monthly fee will provide replacement in the case of loss or theft, accidental physical or liquid damage or mechanical and electrical failure after the manufacturer’s warranty period has expired. The AppleCare Protection Plan for iPhone is available which it will extend the hardware repair coverage to up to two years from the original purchase date of the iPhone, and must be purchased covered under Apple’s One Year Limited Warranty for iPhone. AppleCare won’t cover against liquid damage, theft and accidental physical damage, however only against defects. Essentially it simply extends the standard one-year warranty. If all is consider this is a pretty good insurance plans and are worth having. It is really not realistic to expect your iPhone to be and stay in perfect condition so you have to be prepared for whatever comes its way. Insurance plans are given to you when you are about to purchase but many say that they are not detailed enough and could cause many go without it and try to get it at a later time. So you get that one year for each iPhone but if your willing to invest in the two year thing its 69 bucks for applecare so if your very prone to dropping your phone and you think that it'll break in the next year after you get your iPhone its a good investment. |
